Reflections

So I realized about a week ago that our first anniversary was coming up and while we have TONS of amazing memories already, we didn't record ANY of them! I'm not one to keep a journal or diary or whatever term it is people are using for such a book. I used to try and journal but it ended up being a once every six month kind of thing. The only time I've ever consistently kept a journal is the Summer of 2008 when we studied overseas in Europe and it was a requirement for a grade in our Western Civ. class. Anyway, I figured...I like to type...and I find myself on facebook quite a bit more than is probably necessary...why not try and blog? We'll see how it works!

In the last year since we got married we have been very blessed. It's kind of like that song in the Sound of Music..."Something Good"...I don't know what we could have done to deserve the blessings that have been bestowed upon us in the last year, but they have been great. We find ourselves stopping often to think a quick prayer of thanksgiving for all that God has blessed us with. From the opportunity to serve Him in Europe this summer, to the friends and acquaintances from this year, to the roof over our heads and steady income, to the intense love we still have for one another, we know nothing would be possible without the Grace of God . And for that, we will forever be thankful!
