More Research
I found another resource that actually told me how many levels needed to be in this building. I can only post the link though, just because i tried to copy/past the info and it made my blog go crazy.

RevIT Project Piece
So today was not productive in class at all. I had to reactivate my RevIT program but the website was down so I couldn't get a serial number or activation code. I spent almost the whole class period on the phone with Autodesk but I finally got it worked out. While I was on the phone with the lady I looked up photos of the building that I will be reproducing for my final project. Thought I'd put those up here. I will be modeling the CCTV building in Beijing, China. I wanted to do a building that was architecturally interesting and had a lot of glazing. I finally got it narrowed down to this or the "tetris building" (google it) and this one won me over because it has support on most sides rather than a projecting wing. I also found videos but forgot my headphones so I will post them when I know if they are at all informative.

P.S. Prayers for my family please.

Extra Credit?
Animating Cameras
I thought this one was pretty cool. I liked learning the basics of this because eventually I will be doing walk through animation of interior spaces.
Another Video!!!
It's a brush. We are learning about hair and we had to make this brush to display hair movement.
Some Videos
I think that I'm deciding that I need to post the next few tutorials raw...as in...no materials or scenes or that sort on feature. It really stinks because I really like this program and am having fun exploring! I just find myself exploring so much that I am spending probably more time than is absolutely necessary considering I have other classes and work to think about. Anyway, Here is what I've had fun with today.
This was just practicing with the explosion tool. I decided I didn't want to blow up a bunch of cubes so I found this model online.
This was practice with symmetry. In the shaded wire mode, the yellow and blue balls looked like stars...it was pretty cool!
Finally, This was practice with the array tool. I think it looks kind of like rain.
Peace out!
Oh, and...stay safe and warm everyone!
